Fun Learning - The Best way to engage kids in study

For any toddler, learning to spell the words is the first step in learning to read. Fun learning by engaging them in a range of fun-filled activities is the first and best way to nurture your children’s skills. Children love to learn any task that is fun and exciting. That is the age wherein they have an amazing ability to grasp anything that is taught to them. Inspire your kids to learn everyday by spending time with them reading comic books, painting, and playing educational games. Spelling games can be a great way to sow seed in their minds to develop a life-long passion for learning. Let your child learn with fun playing games with numbers, alphabets, colors, and figures and solving simple puzzle games.

Word games are the building blocks in kindling your child’s curiosity to learn new words. Introduce your child to hangman word game exercises and let he or she guess the names of animal, fruits, and flowers that are hidden in the sentences. Conduct simple spelling tests and tell your child that he or she will get a new toy set of his or her choice after taking up the spelling test successfully. Make the spellinjavascript:void(0)g test interesting by having a ‘lifeline’ option just like the one that you find in most of the game shows on TV. Let your kid get help from his siblings, dad or refer the dictionary and find the right spelling. If there is any mistake in the spellings, then teach him or her the right spelling for the word. This will ensure that your kid gets a 10/10 in the next test for the same set of words.

Create your own innovative game for your kids. For preschoolers, playing games with pictures will do a lot in developing their creativity. Just show your kid the images of animals, plants, and the common things that they see everyday and ask them to spell their names out. If your kid is in or over grade one then him or her engage in activities like playing interactive quiz games, coloring the pages, crafts, words building, and online educational games. To be more precise try some of the popular games like Bird Watcher, Homerun Derby, Bubble Ball, and math popper which your child will enjoy a lot. Thus, embrace the interactive methods of learning and make your kid the smartest.
